This 160-seater restaurant is located directly beneath the Caird Hall in Dundee. One of the main focuses of the restaurant was ‘provenance’ and the desire to celebrate and showcase local produce.

Dining accommodation consisted of a mix of formal and informal space including open plan flexible dining space, smaller intimate booth seating, and podium bar seating. At the rear of the restaurant there was a presentation space linked to a series of large private dining areas with demountable screens to accommodate a mixture of functions and gatherings.

The street frontage was split with two entrances, one to capitalise on morning and lunchtime trade with a bakery and local hot food counter, the other accessing the main restaurant and bar space.

Support accommodation included a large kitchen area incorporating dry goods, food prep area, cold stores (incl. walk-in freezer), wash area and bar store and wine cellar.
